BE Amazed From the simple to the spectacular! From the romantic to the glamorous! If you elect a luxury villa as the venue for your wedding, you will be the privileged recipients of a very special level of privacy and a supreme level of personal service that is rarely found in other venues. BE Exclusive A wedding celebrated in a private villa or private resort affords many other benefits too, such as complete exclusivity. Only your invited guests will be there; there will be no swimsuit clad onlookers.
A wedding in a private villa allows you to choose your own caterer or follow our recommendations for the services of a renowned catering company that will suit your budget. You will also make considerable savings on beverages, which are quite often the most expensive element of any event. Champagne, wine, spirits, beer and soft drinks will all be self-purchased, on your behalf, and will not incur corkage fees. Nor will there be any compulsory decorations; instead you will have the freedom to choose only and exactly what you wish, in reflection of your own unique style. BE Aware that a minimal function fee will be imposed for weddings and events taking place in a villa. Such charges are different in each and every villa-venue, but many are based on the equivalent of one nights' accommodation. The ‘Banjar’ (local community) is also likely to charge a fee if more than 30 guests are present. This fee will offset the disruption caused by parking, lights and loud music. An additional requirement, imposed by villa owners, is the hiring of a wedding coordinator, whose fees will generally run to about 10% of the total budget of the event. With private villas becoming increasingly popular as venues for weddings and other events, it is important to be aware that the majority of owners will not accept a booking involving a function without prior confirmation that a function coordinator has been employed. |
