We at Dhyana Putri Adventures can help you to enjoy this incredible culture and delve deeper into the Balinese psyche. Whether you're interested in ancient architecture,
life cycle rites, textiles, or simply want help with your shopping list, Dhyana Putri Adventures is for you. Want to understand how the gamelan orchestra works? Take a lesson from expert English-speaking musicians. Love batik? Literally try your hand at it.
Have an inclination for farming? Plant rice for half a day in a remote village and learn ancient secrets that have been passed down through the generations.

The macrocosm, or "Great World" as the Balinese call it, is reflected in manyn things including the way their homes are built. By visiting a typical Balinese family in the countryside and having lunch with them you will gain a much better perspective of how daily life is lived.

A Balinese experiences countless rituals in his or her lifetime. We seek out cremations, weddings and temple festivals for you to attend and make sure you are dressed appropriately in traditional respectful outfits. Sitting in a temple late at night watching a shadow puppet play or a trance ritual puts you in a very different space than sitting in a lovely seaside restaurant.

Rucina Ballinger

We custom-tailor your days to suit your interests. You can do a three-day blitz and see the entire island. Or if you're here for a longer stay, book a tour here and there. We can also assist the culture comes to you by organising a mesmerising dance performance just for you at a garden palace.

Let us know what your interests are and we'll weave a web of magical knowledge for you.

Dhyana Putri Adventures is led by American Rucina Ballinger who has lived in Bali since 1974, and her Balinese husband Anak Agung Gede Putra Rangki. Both have been lecturing on Balinese culture and conducting study tours for 20 years.
